Oh the anticipation ...
With only 12 days now until we leave for our next adventure I thought it was about time that I got writing and setting up my blog!
I have wanted to travel to Egypt for such a long time ... ever since that first time when you study Egypt back in primary school and you glimpse the wonders of the pyramids and the Sphinx. This trip was an easy one to plan as we both knew the things we really wanted to do if we ever travelled to Egypt.
So in less than 2 weeks we will be once again heading off and this time we will travel to Cairo to finally see those pyramids and the Sphinx, then on to a cruise down the Nile taking in the sights of Luxor, Esna, Edfu and Aswan. Then a flight to see Abu Simbel before we head back to Cairo for a few more days.
We will end our tour of Egypt by touring to Alexandria (of course we have to visit the ruins of the very first library!) and finally taking in the region of El Alamein.
From there we head to Dubai for a few days of utterly ridiculous luxury at Atlantis the Palms before heading back to Australia.
